About the Blog
This weblog bears the name of the Partnership Missions Department (PMD) theme, ALL THE WORLD, inspired by Mark 16:15,
“Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.”
Jesus’ directions are simple and easy to understand: Go!
- Go where? Into all the world!
- Do what? Preach the good news to all creation!
The sole purpose of this weblog is to help local churches, no matter their size, fulfill this command to GO into ALL THE WORLD to preach the gospel! You can be assured that all material posted will meet this basic criteria by providing up-to-date and pertinent information about WHERE to go, HOW to go, WHY you should go, WHO to go to, and much more. Only information that advances the cause of getting churches connected with missionaries and engaged on the mission field will be made available here.

About the Partnership Missions Department
For more than 20 years, the Partnerships Missions Department has been helping Kentucky Baptists connect people throughout the world to Jesus Christ through short-term mission projects. Partnering with both North American and International Mission Board missionaries, our purpose is to help churches of all sizes and levels grow in their level of missions involvement to fulfill their missions calling.
To assist your church we offer:
- Missions Training – to help your church better understand God’s mission to save a lost world and how it can become an integral part of the evangelization of the nations
- Strategic Opportunities – We are constantly researching to find projects that are part of a larger strategy to reach the world for Christ.
- Trip Facilitation – We provide orientation training and help you navigate through the logistics of travel arrangements, document requirements, and vaccinations
- Missions Network – We establish contacts between Kentucky churches and the missionary field personnel all over the world
Through the ministry of the PMD the Kentucky Baptist Convention (KBC) invests a great deal to serve all Kentucky Baptist churches’ needs for on-site, hands-on missions opportunities in all the world. In my next post, I’ll explain some of the recent changes to the PMD designed to help facilitate Kentucky Baptists’ calling to go into all the world.
