This edition of Deep Water features a phone interview with Kentucky native and IMB missionary to Malta, Earl Pinkston. Earl is well known among many KBC churches in which he has spoken and that have partnered with his ministry to the Medditerranian island of Malta.In Luke chapter five, Jesus led Peter to follow him gradually, first asking only a small commitment – to push his boat out a short distance from shore. Eventually, Jesus challenged him to “put out into deep water” – a call to a deeper commitment. Partnership Missions’ four levels of involvement is based on this principle of a progressive growth in commitment to overseas ministry – from the shore to deep water.
