Welcome to the launching of Deep Water podcast.
In Luke chapter five, Jesus led Peter to follow him gradually, first asking only a small commitment – to push his boat out a short distance from shore. Eventually, Jesus challenged him to “put out into deep water” – a call to a deeper commitment.
Partnership Missions’ four levels of involvement is based on this principle of a progressive growth in commitment to overseas ministry – from the shore to deep water.
The inaugural edition of Deep Water features an interview with Jório Francillio, field coordinator for Kentucky teams going to Piauí, Brazil. Jório discusses the impact the ’09 Kentucky teams, his church plant in Teresina, and the needs and prayer requests from his ministry and family.
