Faith in Action: X-treme!

Faith in Action Xtreme

Faith in Action Xtreme

In an earlier blog I highlighted an exciting ministry tool called FAITH IN ACTION that is designed to help churches impact their community through service. That post featured a video showing the result of the implementation of this tool by Baptist churches in San Diego. That emphasis not only impacted the communities, but equally important, it made a lasting impact on the participating churches. For example, one San Diego pastor in the video comments that after his church experienced the Faith in Action project there was going to be a “mutiny” by the membership if the church didn’t continue the outreach ministry on a regular basis.

Click on the Faith in Action Xtreme logo above to link to this new video. It brings an update about the continued excitment  in the wake of the intial Faith in Action campaign held last year, and outlines five areas identified by San Diego community leaders where participating Faith in Action churches can make the most impact: Mentoring, Tutoring, Foster Care, Elder Care, Military.
